HIS HOLINESS ARAM I RECEIVES THE AMBASSADOR OF HUNGARY
His Excellency Arpat Rona, the newly appointed Ambassador of Hungary to
Lebanon visited Catholicos Aram I in Antelias. As a newly appointed
ambassador, he had come to meet His Holiness personally, and hear his
analysis of the situation in Lebanon and learn about the Catholicosate and
the Armenian community.
The Ambassador had also served in Turkey and was aware of the Armenia/Turkey
Protocol. At the end of their conversation His Holiness told Ambassador
Arpat Rona that the truth of the Genocide has been long established and the
imperative for Turkey to recognize it was non-negotiable.
