HFC Haarlem team, where the Armenian national team striker Edgar
Manucharyan played, has gone bankrupt and is being liquidated. The
120-year-old football club from North Holland's capital city, having
played poorly and occupying last place in Netherlands' first division
championship, has been removed from competition, effective immediately.
Points scored by Harlem will be nullified and the players of this
club will be given a free player status.
"In fact, I have nothing to say. I am disappointed. But I have to
look ahead and go on with my career," Edgar Manucharyan said, whose
transfer goes to Ajax in Amsterdam.
Edgar's manager said the fate of this footballer will be decided today:
"We will meet with the Ajax representatives and will decide whether
Edgar will stay in the Ajax junior players' team till the end of the
tournament or he will be transfered to another club."
