NEW COOPERATION AGREEMENTS SIGNED BETWEEN YEREVAN AND MOSCOW

A Russian delegation headed by Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov arrived in
Yerevan Friday on a formal visit.
The meeting between Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan and his Russian
counterpart Yuri Luzhkov was followed by a solemn ceremony of signing
agreements between Kentron community of Yerevan and the Prefecture
of the Central Administrative District of Moscow on the one hand and
between Avan community of Yerevan and the prefecture of the Northern
Administrative district of Moscow on the other hand.
Then, Mayors Beglaryan and Luzhkov signed an agreement on developing
trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian-cultural
cooperation between Yerevan and Moscow.
