Lee Chang-dong awarded Master prize of Golden Apricot international

ArmInfo. On July 16 the well-known Korean film director Lee Chang-dong
was awarded Master prize of the Golden Apricot International Film
Festival.
"I don't think I deserve this prize",- says Lee Chang-dong modestly.
He confesses that he perceives the Master prize as display of love and
respect for the Korean people.
The film director says this is his second visit to Armenia and he can
say that he has already fallen in love with this country. He adds that
before coming to Armenia he read the books by a Korean writer, who
states that Armenian women are the most beautiful women. Having come
to Armenia, he saw that Armenians have not only beautiful appearance,
but also internal beauty, says Lee Chang-dong.
o note, within the frames of the VII Golden Apricot International film
Festival in Yerevan, the premiere of Lee Chang-dong's film "Poetry"
took place on July 16. To recall, the film was awarded aprize at
Festival de Cannes for the best script.
