TIGRAN NALBANDYAN WINS INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT IN DORTMUND

GM Tigran Nalbandyan won an international tournament held with
participation of 92 chess players in Dortmund, Germany. Nalbandyan
edged out Thomas Henrichs (Germany) and Mikhail Zaitsev (Russia)
on tie-break after all finished on 7/9.
Karen Movsisyan scored 4.5 points out of 5 possible in an international
chess tournament in Sitges, Spain. He is only half a point behind
leader GM Barsov (Uzbekistan).
Meanwhile, Zaven Andriasyan scored 5.5 points out of 8 possible before
the last round of a tournament held in Balaguer, Spain. Andriasyan
is one point behind the tournament leader. Hrant Melkumyan scored
5 points.
Arthur Gabrielyan and Sergey Kasparov scored 3.5 points each out
of 4 possible in an international tournament with participation of
310 chess players in Pardubice, the Czech Republic. The Armenian
chess players are only half a point behind the tournament leaders,
