ArmInfo. On June 1, the International Children's Day, students of the
Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University organized a charitable action
at the Hematology Center after. R. Yeolyan and became blood donors
for the children suffering from leukemia. The students prepared also
    gifts for children.

"I cannot but say how important is for me the desire and aspiration
of the RAU students to become blood donors," says Smbat Daghbashyan,
Professor, Director of the Center. He points out that nearly 918
children below 18 are registered at the Center including 128 suffer
from leukemia. "Blood donors throughout Armenia number nearly 20,000.

Unfortunately only 5-7% of them are voluntary donors who donated
their blood without compensation like the students of the Slavonic
University," Smbat Daghbashyan said. Ripsime Margaryan, Head of the
RAU Education Department, for their turn called on everyone to protect
and care for children to make the world better.
