UNKNOWN PEOPLE ATTACK PROTEST ACTION PARTICIPANTS IN YEREVAN, HAVING INTRODUCED THEMSELVES AS OMBUDSMAN'S OFFICE EMPLOYEES

ArmInfo. Yesterday two unknown people attacked the protest action
p[participants in Yerevan, having introduced themselves as the
Ombudsman's Office employees, says Armenian Ombudsman Armen
Haroutyunyan in his message to Head of Armenian Police Alik Sargsyan.
The message says that at 6 pm Monday the Ombudsman's Office employees
visited the place of the protest action where there were journalists
and policemen. According to the ombudsman, photojournalist Gagik
Shamshyan told the Ombudsman's Office employees that two unknown
people attacked the protest action participants. "Taking into account
the above-mentioned and following the requirements of Article 12
of the Armenian Law "On Human Rights Protection", I ask you to give
instructions to prepare materials on the fact and set this case in
legal motion. Please inform me about the results",- the message says.
