SERZH SARGSYAN: ARMENIA NOT INTENT TO BARGAIN ARTSAKH PEOPLE RIGHT TO SELF-DETERMINATION WITH ANYONE

Turkey is trying to interfere with Artsakh issue settlement process
where it evidently has nothing to do, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
told the Armenian community representatives in Rostov-on-Don.
"Of course, you are aware that we have suspended the ratification
process of Armenin-Turkish protocols. The main cause for doing
so is very clear: Turkey is not ready to ratify the protocols
today. To justify its failure, every day Turkey is putting forth new
preconditions. Moreover, it is trying to interfere with an affair,
I mean the Artsakh issue settlement, where it evidently has nothing
to do," the President highlighted.
Serzh Sargsyan said at the moment we have nothing to speak with an
unreliable and non-trustworthy partner which regularly breaks the
preliminary agreement.
"I am convinced that you remember the remarks, concerns and ideas
voiced here, in Rostov-on-Don, during my previous visit.
Time has shown that we have done the utmost we could for the opening
of the last closed border in Europe, while Turkey is not ready for
this," the President said.
As far as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict goes, S. Sargsyan said we are not
intent to bargain the right to self-determination of Artsakh people
with anyone.
