Within the framework of the events dedicated to the 2100th birth
anniversary of Tigran the Great, Artak Movsisyan has initiated to
publish a map-calendar to be used as a manual in all the schools of the
republic, Armenian historian Artak Movsisyan told reporters Wednesday.
The map will be hung on the walls in all the classrooms so that
children can use it and get acquainted with Tigran the Great's
activity. So, it will be 2011-2012 calendar, as well as the chronology
of Tigran the Great's activity with photos, etc.
Besides, a number of other events have also been suggested: shooting
of a film, as well as an animation film, though, the latter requires
huge sums: %30-50 thousand.
The initiatives have submitted another offer over making a computer
game. According to the historian, their offer on making a TV program
about the great emperor received no response from TV channels.
A. Movsisyan noted, however, that there are volunteers who are ready
to call the project to life.
