Changes have been made to the schedule of the Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan, who is paying two-day working visit to Russia. Though the
President was expected to attend the annual horse race for the prize
of the President of Russia, he couldn't do it due to the bilateral
meeting with Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev, President's spokesman
Armen Arzumanyan told Panorama.am.
According to the spokesman, such events become platforms for
non-official contacts of Presidents, though, as A. Arzumanyan said,
upon the offer of the Russian President, the non-official contacts
were substituted for an official meeting, which lasted about an hour.
Panorama.am recalls that besides discussing a wide frame of issues
of bilateral interest, during Rostov-on-Don meeting the Presidents
reached agreement over Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's upcoming
visit to Armenia in August.
