Ruben Aghanbekyan, son of the Armenian academician Abel Aghanbekyan,
will from June 21 head the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange,
according to a release issued by the MICE.
He will substitute in this position Konstantin Korishenko, the current
president of the Exchange.
Ruben Aghanbekyan is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in
Renaissance Capital - a Russian investment company.
The release also says the MICE shareholders have decided to introduce
changes that will see the functions of senior managers separated.
Korishenko, who has for the recent year combined the positions of
president and CEO of MICE, will from now on be occupying the position
of president only.
"The decision is accounted by the MICE strategy in an attempt to create
a holding structure and pass into joint shares," reads the release.
