YEREVAN, JUNE 7, ARMENPRESS: 75 small hydroelectric power stations
are currently operating in the Republic of Armenia, 70 ones are
being constructed. President of Small Hydrostations Union Naira
Karapetyan said at today's meeting with journalists that the whole
electricity is consumed in Armenia. 'We want to develop this sector
by creating opportunities for the exportation of the electric power,'
she mentioned.
