Serzh Sargsyan receives Foreign Minister of Finland Alexander Stub
YEREVAN, MAY 11, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
received today Foreign Minister of Finland Alexander Stub.
Presidential press office told Armenpress that Serzh Sargsyan said
that Armenia highlights cooperation with Finland in bilateral and
multilateral formats and highly praises its active involvement in the
processes of solution of issues of the South Caucasian region since
the collapse of the USSR. The president noted that thanks to the
unbiased and constructive stance Finland acquired a great store of
trust and is a desirable partner for Armenia.
Foreign minister Stub said that Finland is ready to extend the new
opportunities of cooperation with Armenia. He noted that his country
is attentively following the recent developments in our region and
asked President Serzh Sargsyan present position of Armenia over the
issues.
The parties agreed that the best guarantee of ensuring peace and
development in the South Caucasus is the dialogue between the
countries of the region and establishment of good-neighborly
relations.
