UCI TO HOST TALK ON ARMENIAN MONASTIC ENSEMBLES OF IRAN

IRVINE-The School of Humanities at the University of California,
Irvine will present a lecture by Dr. Ali Mousavi, Assistant Curator
of Ancient Iranian and Near Eastern Art Los Angeles County Museum of
Art entitled "The Armenian Monastic Ensembles of Iranian Azerbaijan:
Rescue Operations and the World Heritage Nomination."
The event is sponsored by the UC Irvine Armenian Studies and will take
place on Thursday, June 17. A 6:30 p.m. reception will be followed
by the lecture at 7 p.m.
The event will be held at Humanities Gateway 1030, University of
California, Irvine. Parking is available in the Mesa Parking Structure
