OUTGOING FORUM OF RA INSURERS TO HAVE A GOOD INFLUENCE ON DEVELOPMENT OF NKR INSURANCE MARKET

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 14, ARMENPRESS: Thematic discussions on "The
Current State of Insurance of the Property Put in Pledge against
Banking Loans and the Ways of its Improvement" were conducted June 12
in the sessions' hall of the NKR government within the frameworks of
the outgoing forum of Armenian insurers with participation of members
of the NKR government under the head of Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan.
Representatives of the companies of the RA insurance market and
NKR Deputy Finance Minister Gregory Martirosyan delivered speeches,
after which practical discussions were extended.
Executive Director of "GRIAR Insurance" company Armen Petrosyan
noted that during its one-year activity the Stepanakert branch of
the company has already signed 370 agreements. In discussions the
representatives of the NKR government pointed out two spheres which
regard the property and warrantee insurance, the second of which is
mainly connected with the state.
In the concluding speech of the outgoing forum, representative of
the RA Central Bank Aharon Chilingaryan, expressing gratitude to
the NKR government for organizing the forum on a high level and for
sponsoring it, noted that the discussions were very efficient in regard
to content, which, according to him, will have a good influence on
development of the Artsakh insurance market by RA insurance companies.
