THOSE EDUCATED ABROAD DIVERGE FROM NATIONAL VALUES: NSHAN VORBERYAN
Tert.am
18.06.10
Armenia should not try solving pan-national issues through those
Armenians who have been educated abroad, member of Mesropyan Ukht
(Mesrop's covenant) union, American-Armenian Nshan Vorberyan told
a press conference today, while speaking about the re-opening of
foreign-language schools in Armenia.
In his words the only comforting thing in this row aroused due to the
re-opening of those schools is that the public and the intelligentsia
came to be Unanimous over the issue, i.e. they both opposed to that
initiative.
Furhter he mentioned that by opening those foreign-language schools
we will lose those who ensure the continuity of our culture.
"I think that pan-national issues must not be solved by people who
have had foreign education - something our prime minister and education
minister are seeking - because those who get education abroad diverge
from national values," said Vorberyan.
