HAIGAZIAN STUDENT OF THE YEAR IS GARO AGOPIAN

Since 1995, Haigazian University - the only 100% Armenian institution
for higher education in the Diaspora - annually holds elections for
Student of the Year, who has excelled in academic performance in
extra-curricular activities and has served as a role model.
After an action-packed race full with pre-election meetings and
speeches, the hard-fought campaign was concluded with the President of
Haigazian University Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian announcing the name of
the Student of the Year at the end of the annual Awards Day ceremony,
who this year was Garo Agopian who collected 78% of the vote against
Dima Matta.
Garo Agopian's family are frequent visitors to Cyprus and their
Gibrahay fellow subscribers and community friends, join us in
congratulating him for a fine achievement.
Knowing Garo, we are certain that this Award is simply the beginning
of wonderful journey in excellence in his academic field, as well as
in his personal life.
