The PACE Monitoring Committee elected Goran Lindblad as co-rapporteur
on Armenia on Thursday. The head of the Armenian delegation to the
PACE Davit Harutiunyan informed Radio Liberty from Strasburg.
On Tuesday George Colombier had informed that his term as co- rapporteur ends.
The head of the Swedish delegation to the PACE Goran Lindblad, the new
co- rapporteur on Armenia, had presented a draft in February where the
involvement of the army in the events of March 1, 2008 is described as
containing elements of coup d'etat.
