ArmInfo. Head of Armenian Delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
Aram Safaryan said at today's press-conference that during the
winter session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna he invited
representatives of OSCE PA member countries to participate in
the forthcoming parliamentary election in Karabakh in May 2010 as
observers.
The Armenian MP said that after his speech at the OSCE PA winter
session, parliamentarians of many countries approached him and
showed their interest in the details of this issue. "Along with its
discrepancies, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly closely cooperates
with the executive bodies of OSCE. The latters, particularly, the
Ministerial Council, OSCE/ODIHR and others will make the final decision
and advise the parliamentarians whether to observe the election in
Nagorno-Karabakh or not",- said Safaryan.
