Armenia's Embassy in France along-side with Representative Office of
the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Armenian organisations of France has
held ceremonies of mourning for the victims of the Sumgait Massacres.

Armenian churches of France hosted prayers services in memory of
the victims of the ethnic massacres in Azerbaijan. The services were
attended by representatives of Armenian Community and organisations

Conseil de Coordination des Organisations Arméniennes de France
(CCAF), Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France,
has issued a statement in relation to the Sumgait Massacres and other
ethnic mass killings of Armenian population of Azerbaijan, committed
in Baku, Kirovabad (Ganja), Shaumian, etc. The European Parliament's
Resolution of July 1988 and French Le Monde paper's publications were
    attached to the statement.

A book by Samvel Shakhmouradian, "La Tragédie de SoumgaÑ-t", with
foreword by Elena Boner and Bernard Kouchner, was handed round to
participants and guests. Other documents in relation to the Sumgait
Massacres were handed out among Armenian students of France's colleges.

Armenia's Ambassador to France spoke and said that the Sumgait
Massacres, committed on February 26-28, were followed by mass killings
and massacres in Baku, Getashen, Shaumian, Kirovabad, etc.

It's worth mentioning that the Overview Conference on ethnic massacres
against Armenian population of Baku and Sumgait will be held in Paris
    in the near future.
