Representatives of Armenian communities in Baltic states held protest
actions on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the Armenian
pogroms in Sumgait, Azerbaijan.
The demonstrators headed to Azerbaijani Embassies in Riga and Vilnius
with banners condemning the massacres of Armenians in Sumgait and
laid wreaths to the khachkar in the yard of Armenan Church in Tallinn.
The initiators of the demonstration protested against the mass
massacres of Armenians and called international community to recognize
it as crime against humanity.
