ARMENIA MEDIATED IN GEORGIAN-RUSSIAN NEGOTIATION

The Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan stated during a news
conference held on March 2 that the information that negotiations
over the opening of the Upper Lars were held in Armenia is true. Such
information appeared in the press a couple of months ago.
"Now I can confirm that negotiations really were held in Armenia
through the Armenian mediation. And today, when the checkpoint is
already working, we can say it is a big success for Georgia, Russia
and of course Armenia", stated the Armenian Foreign Minister.
