ARMENIA FM MEETS EUROPEAN PEOPLE'S PARTY LEADER

The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, received the
delegation headed by Wilfred Martens, leader of the European People's
Party.
The interlocutors discussed the process of development of the
Armenia-EU relations, issues related to the Eastern Partnership
Program, attaching importance to the formation of a parliamentary
cooperation platform between EU members and the neighbor states,
which could contribute to the deepening of relations with the European
Parliament and cooperation between the countries of the region in a
new format.
Edward Nalbandian and Wilfred Martens talked about the steps towards
normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and the latest
developments in the negotiations on the Karabakh conflict settlement.
The interlocutors exchanged views on a number of international and
regional questions.
