KARABAKH AND ABKHAZIA RECOGNIZED EACH OTHER

Does the fact that the NKR president Bako Sahakyan participated in
the swearing-in ceremony of the Abkhazian president Sergey Bagapsh
mean that Abkhazia and South Ossetia will recognize Karabakh and
Karabakh will recognize their independence? On March 4, reporters
asked this question the head of the NKR parliamentary commission on
foreign relations Vahram Atanesyan. He answered that Karabakh has
already recognized the independence of Abkhazia. The participation
oi the swearing-in ceremony of its president, Atanesyan considers a
mutual recognition which can be expressed in the form of establishment
of diplomatic relations.
