EXPENDITURES OF RA STATE BUDGET AMOUNT TO 38.6 BILLION DRAMS IN JANUARY 2010

YEREVAN, MARCH 4, NOYAN TAPAN. Expenditures of the RA state
budget amounted to 38.6 billion drams in January 2010, or 21.4%
of the quarterly program. In particular, current expenses made 34.7
billion drams, while operations with non-financial assets amounted
to about 4 billion drams. According to the RA Ministry of Finance,
budget expenditures grew by 12% or 4.1 billion drams as compared to
January 2009. The growth was mostly due to an increase in expenses
on non-financial assets as well as state debt service expenses.
The average exchange rate of one dollar made 377.53 drams in January
of this year.
