EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT PRESIDENT VISITS ARMENIA

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President
Thomas Mirow will be in Armenia on March 18 for a one-day business
visit.
As told to Tert.am by Public Relations Officer at the EBRD Tbilisi
Office Loretta Martikian, prior to arriving in Yerevan, Mirow will
be in Baku on March 16 and Tbilisi on March 17.
This is the EBRD president's first visit to the region. Planned during
his visit are meetings with presidents and government officials of
all three countries, as well as the presidents of the Central Banks
in all three countries.
Armenia became a member of the European Bank for Reconstruction
and Development in 1992. More than 70 programs worth more than $355
million USD have been implemented in Armenia on the EBRD's behalf.
