Before leaving for Great Britain, Turkish Premier Recep Erdogan
answered journalists' questions at the Ankara airport.
As to his decision to go to the United States or not, the Turkish
Premier said that after the ministerial council's meeting Deputy
Prime Minister Cemil Cicek answered the question, reported CNNturk.
"We have not planned a visit to the United States, but we have an
invitation. We have not yet decided on who is going to represent
Turkey at this conference [Washington nuclear summit]," Erdogan said.
Following the sitting of the Turkish Council of Ministers, when asked
if the council discussed the Armenian Genocide resolutions approved
in Sweden and United States, Cemil Cicek said that the Turkish Premier
and Foreign Minister had made statements.
Turkey recalled its Ambassador to the United States Namik Tan after
the Armenian Genocide resolution was approved in the United States.
