ALL CIS MEMBER STATES INTERESTED IN KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT: LEBEDEV

There is not a shadow of doubt that all member states of the
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) are interested in early
settlement of Karabakh conflict, Executive Committee Chairman,
CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev told in the interview with
Azerbaijani Trend News agency.
"As a Chairman of CIS Executive Committee, I would be really happy
if Armenia and Azerbaijan arrive at a peaceful and fair solution to
the conflict," Lebedev said.
According to him, CIS Executive Committee and other structures of
the Commonwealth are not directly involved in Karabakh peace process.
However, according to their lights, they actively support all efforts
to seek mutually acceptable solutions.
