Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian suffered another defeat recently,
this time against Russian player Peter Svidler (0-2) in Round 5
yesterday of the 19th Amber Blindfold and Rapid chess tournament held
in France.
To rub salt into the wound, Aronian's profile on Amber's official
website introduces the Armenian Grandmaster with the following
statement:
"As the glorious winner of the past two Amber tournaments, Levon
Aronian is obviously the man to beat in this year's 19th edition."
