Slovakia is for the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations and
for the ratification of the Armenian-Turkish protocols without any
preconditions, Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav LajÄ~Mák told a
news conference in Yerevan on March 18.
Speaking of the possibility of Turkey's admission to the European Union
(EU), he stressed that it depends on Turkey's ability to implement
all the reforms proposed by the EU.
As regards the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, Minister LajÄ~Mák,
on behalf of the EU and Slovakia, stressed that the conflict must be
settled within the OSCE Minsk Group and on the basis of the Madrid
principles.
