SARA TODD ASSISTANT DIRECTOR JINISHIAN MEMORIAL FOUNDATION
VISITS HIS HOLINESS ARAM I IN ANTELIAS
On the occasion of her visit to the region, Ms. Sara Todd accompanied by the
Lebanon Director of the Foundation, Ms. Seta Pamboukian visited His Holiness
Aram I. After welcoming the guests, Catholicos Aram thanked Ms. Todd and the
members of the Board of the Foundation for their support of the Armenian
community. "As a charitable organization" he continued, "the Memorial Fund
has enabled Armenians in need to become self-sufficient." He then reminded
Ms. Todd that the wish of the founder was to assist Armenians in the Middle
East, and therefore, this concern should remain as the priority of the
Foundation. "A strong presence of Armenians in the Middle East" the
Catholicos said, "will also strengthen Christian presence in the Middle
East, which is the major pre-occupation of all churches in the region.
