ERDOGAN'S WORDS PLUNGE WORLD COMMUNITY INTO CONFUSION, IF NOT IN SHOCK

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Erdogan's words about the possibility of expulsion
of Armenian citizens from Turkey plunged the world into confusion,
if not in shock. Naturally, being of sound mind and good health,
nobody will do this, and Erdogan, I think, does not believe in what
he said, Ruben Mehrabyan , expert for Armenian Center for Political
    and International Studies told PanARMENIAN.Net.

In his opinion, these hapless protocols signed by the foreign ministers
of both countries, over time, showed all their weakness.

"Time has shown that they not only unable to solve the problems
between the two countries, but also pose new challenges. Naive
expectation supported by the "soldiers of propaganda front" without
being fulfilled, have generated some frustration that, in general, is
seen in the latest statements of Erdogan and other Turkish officials.

The other side of the issue, the background, is also important. This
background is linked to the fruitless searches for a new place and
role of Turkey in a rapidly changing world. At this stage, their
state can be described as hanging, uncertain, experiencing discomfort,
throwing their politicians frequently from one extreme to another.

Indeed, the socio-political developments in Turkey are very
complicated, there are many equations with an even greater number
of variables. This explains, perhaps, that the world community is
yet watching how Erdogan arrests high-ranking military servants,"
    the Armenian expert said.

"After all, it is clear that the protocols do not have future. Signing
protocols with such content, the Armenian diplomacy has already made
an unforgivable mistake, and we should avoid statements and steps
that will make it worse," he said.
