Kazakhstan suggests holding meeting of Presidents of Azerbaijan and
Armenia in Astana

Kazakhstan, as the OSCE chair country, has suggested holding a meeting
of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Astana in 2010, The
Minister for Foreign Aaffairs of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabaev, informed
during the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries in
Moscow, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"Within the framework of peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict on the basis of the Madrid principles, will render assistance
to the activity of the Minsk OSCE Group and is ready to organize the
meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Astana in
2010," Kanat Saudabaev said.
He underlined that Kazakhstan during its chairmanship in OSCE `will
make all efforts to contribute to the consistent progress of the
positive trends in resolution of conflicts over CIS territory.'
