TEDTalks Comes to Yerevan

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), predominately known as a
website with performances and talks from around the world on a number
of topics available for free video viewing, will be coming to Yerevan
this fall.
An independently organized TED event (termed `TEDx') will focus on
topics related to Armenia. Talks will take place on September 25, 2010
(location to be announced).
According to the TEDx Yerevan site:
`TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people
together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDx
Yerevan, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDx
Yerevan event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark
deep discussion and connection in a small group.'
Organizers are currently seeking ideas from the public. You can submit
an idea and vote on those which you would like to see. Visit the
