On April 29, the Armenian parliament adopted the draft law on amending
the RA Law on Police Service that was submitted by the government for
the second reading. Under the draft law, persons, who did not serve
in the army, will not be eligible to enter the Police Academy.
Parliamentarians also adopted the draft law on making changes in
the laws on RA NA Regulations and Legal Acts that was submitted by
Vice-Speaker of the RA NA Samvel Nikoyan for the first reading.
According to the draft law, if the Armenian government submits a
draft law, it should also provide its application's regime.
