ArmInfo. Prisoner Souren Avetisyan hung himself at Nubarashen
criminal-executive establishment of the Armenian Justice Ministry,
Thursday. The press service of the Armenian Justice Ministry reported
that a criminal case has been instituted and pre-trial investigation
is underway.
By the order of the head of the criminal-executive establishment,
official investigation is to be conducted to find out the details
of the incident and detect the persons whose inadvertence has led to
Avetisyan's suicide.
The Justice Ministry denies the information published by a number
of mass media that another suicide was committed on April 23 as
well. The ministry points out that the Psychiatric Dispensary of
Nubarashen, where the suicide was committed, has nothing to do with
the criminal-executive establishment. To note, one more incident
has recently occurred at the specified Psychiatric Dispensary: two
patients made an attempt to escape.
