Chairman of Youth Unions' Association of Turkey Salih Yusen was invited
today to have a joint news conference with the Chairman of Research
center of political developments Vahan Dilanyan. The highlights of
the conference were the Armenian-Turkish ties.
As soon as the conference resumed, the Turkish expert said he wasn't
going to answer any questions related to the Armenian Genocide. "I
would like more to discuss social issues," he said.
Talking about the suspending of the protocols, V. Dilanyan said that
the suspending of the protocols by President Serzh Sargsyan gave a
new enthusiasm to the experts and critics to say that the process is
aborted or that they are on its edge.
"I think what Armenia has offered is the best solution in
that situation, I think the process will resume after Turkish
Parliamentarian elections in 2011," Dilanyan said adding that Turkey
doesn't have that political will to ratify the protocols, but they
will have that will after 2011 when they won't be threatened to lose
their voters.
