Members of Sardarapat Movement today went to the NKR Permanent
Representation in Armenia to hand a video record of the movement's
April 22 congress and call NKR people for sobriety.
As informed by Sardarapat member Grizelda Ghazaryan, Permanent
Representative Karlen Avetisyan had no time to receive them.
"If you have something to give me, leave it here and go away.
Immediately vacate the office!" Avetisyan told his "unexpected"
visitors.
The group left the building disappointed and offended.
The NKR Permanent Representative had been invited to the movement's
congress on the Karabakh issue and Armenia-Turkey relations but he
did not show up.
"We were told that Avetisyan did not come as he was not interested
in the meeting. He goes where he is ordered to go," said Sardarapat
members who think that NKR authorities do not take adequate steps
regarding the Karabakh conflict.
"We are not satisfied with Karabakh authorities' statements. They
dash away every threat hanging over Karabakh but we are convinced
that the issue is periled. RA authorities are ready to unpleasant
surprises. We do not exclude that one day we may wake up to find
an anti-Armenian document signed and put on our tables," Sardarapat
movement member Samvel Harutyunyan told A1+.
