The Nagorno-Karabakh people's position clearly stated during the 1991
referendum is of primary importance in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace
process. Armenia has been and will be supporting this position, Tigran
Balayan, Head of the Public Relations Department, RA Foreign Office,
told journalists, commenting on official Baku's claims that Armenia
allegedly asked for time to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Azerbaijan is wasting time as, sooner or later, it will have to put
up with the Nagorno-Karabakh people's will.
"Not finding understanding of its destructive position in the
negotiation process, some Azerbaijani official have nothing to do but
resort to falsifications, and fret and fume before their own people,"
Balayan said.
