Two rounds ahead of closing of the third stage of the FIDE Grand Prix
among women, taking place in Nalchik, Russia's Tatiana Kosintseva
is the top-leader at 7 points, followed by Yifan from China and
Pia Cramling from Sweden, who both have scored 6 points each after
victories in round nine - in games against Baira Kovanova from Russia
and Betul Yildiz from Turkey.
Round nine didn't bring victories to Armenian chess players. Elina
Danielian lost to Munguntuul Batkhuyag, and Lilit Mkrtchian lost to
Koneru Humpy.
