    Mission of "Rossotrudnichestvo" to conduct a number of events in Armenia dedicated to 65th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War

    YEREVAN, MAY 5, ARMENPRESS: The mission of "Rossotrudnichestvo" will
    conduct a number of events in Armenia dedicated to the 65th anniversary
    of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Press service of the mission
    told Armenpress that a monument dedicated to 62 co-farmers will be
    placed May 6 in Ttujur village of Krasnoselsk province. The latter
    which has been brought to Armenia on April 3 has been put up with
    the support of Tigran Shahnazaryan, head of the Armenian community
    in Nizhniy Novgorod, former resident of Ttujur.

    Head of the mission Victor Krivopuskov has supported the idea of
    putting up a monument. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav
    Kovalenko, Head of the Chief Headquarter of the Armenian Armed
    Forces Yuri Khacahturov, veterans and representatives of the Armenian
    community of Nizhniy Novgorod will be present at the placing ceremony
    of the monument.

    A literary-music event will take place May 6 in the House of Moscow.

    On May 7, an exhibition of photos of Armenian and Russian veterans of
    the Great Patriotic War will open in the Russian Culture Museum. A
    meeting with veterans and representatives of the Union of Soviet
    Military Officers will be held. An exhibition entitled "The Armenians
    in the Great Patriotic War" will be conducted May 7 in the Armenian
    Tourism Institute.

    On May 9, a festive concert dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the
    victory will be held in K. Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex. Over 1
    000 guests will be present at the event organized by Russian Ambassador
    to Armenia V. Kovalenko.
