ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT TO HAVE 25% FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT ON INTERNATIONAL "CANDLE" CENTER BASED ON THE SYNCHROTRON RAY ACCELERATOR

Armenian government will have 25% financial participation in the
works on implementation of the project on international "Candle"
center based on the synchrotron ray accelerator. Armenian government
approved the project "on the events for the implementation of the
project on international "Candle" center based on the synchrotron ray
accelerator and appointment of responsible". The government invites
foreign states and international establishments to participate in
the construction of "Candle" international center. The responsible
for the implementation of the project is the state committee of the
Armenian Education and Science Ministry.

For coordinating "Candle" program a council is being formed headed
by the Armenian Prime Minister and the staff of the council is being
approved by the prime minister.

The prime minister said this is one of the examples when the
initiative of the scientists is transferred to the state-private
sector cooperation field. "In respect of development of this project
our scientists were quite successive. The project passed international
expertise, we received the specialized conclusion of authoritative
scientists who stated that they support its implementation. The
government is also ready to support the group of the scientists. Our
25% of financing will be an additional impetus for finding investors,"
Tigran Sargsyan said.
