THE RECURRENT HYSTERIA OF AZERBAIJAN

Recently the head of the Press Service of the ministry of defence
of Azerbaijan Sabiroghlu and other, so called political scientists,
have again come up with announcements, which can hardly be described
otherwise than barking and propaganda hysteria. The source of
this recurrent "excitement" of the Azerbaijani propaganda was the
announcement of the RA Minister of Defence, according to which the
Armenian Armed Forces should reach the level of the most powerful
armies in the world. This announcement seemed very strange to the
staff and management of the Azerbaijani "Agitprop", for the reason
that the Azerbaijanis can appraise the efficiency of their army only
in accordance to the size of the military budget, the procured old
armaments and the bizarreness in their army.
In order to draw the attention of their public from the systematic
mass murders, suicides and rapes in the Azerbaijani army, the "army
commissars" of the Azerbaijani propaganda are relived by abusing the
incident that happened in one of the Armenian AF units. It is easily
understood: the Azerbaijani military-political clique is unable to get
rid of the complexities of a loser. In the years of war, excelling
us at least three times in terms of armament and human resources,
using Turkish, Ukrainian, Afghan, Chechen, and other mercenaries,
the Azerbaijani army lost the war and had to sign an obliged armistice.
Even then the Azerbaijani presidents, following each other, made
pompous announcements and promised their public to seize not only
Nagorno Kharabakh, but also a number of Armenian regions. And now,
instead of taking lessons from the past, Azerbaijan continues speaking
with threats, insults and slanders.
Once again do we announce that the Armenian Army stands strong on the
borders of our state. It is ready, at any time, to oppose the enemy
and give him a deserved blow.
