7 taekwondo practitioners of Armenia to take part in the European
Championship
EREVAN, MAY 7, ARMENPRESS: 7 taekwondo practitioners of Armenia will
take part in the tournament of the Taekwondo European Championship,
which will be held May 11-15 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Vardan Ghahramanyan, deputy chief executive of RA Taekwondo
Federation, told Armenpress that Varag Arakelyan (54kg weight
category), Haykaz Samuelyan (58kg weight category), Vrej Petrosyan
(64kg weight category), Champion of the European Youth Tournament
Levon Pashabezyan (68kg weight category), Maxim Sahakyan (73kg weight
category), European Champion Arman Yeremyan (78kg weight category),
Aram Sahakyan (87kg weight category) are involved in RA National team
of Taekwondo. The head coach of RA National team of Taekwondo is
Gevorg Danielyan. RA taekwondo practitioners are expected to win 1-2
medals.
