ArmInfo. Turkish Ambassador to Russia Halil Akinci says Russia
could play a more active role in the Karabakh peace process and in
establishment of the Turkish-Armenian relations.
"We believe that Russia as a country in the region is able to make its
contribution to settlement of the Karabakh conflict. Russia is the
only OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair country situated in the region," the
Ambassador told Interfex before Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's
visit to Turkey on May 11-12. Ambassador Akinci is sure that Russia
could be more actively involved in resolution of the given problem. He
says that the given issue will be discussed during D. Medvedev's
visit to Ankara.
