PARKING ON AZATUTYUN SQUARE WILL BE CONTRSUCTED EARLIER THAN PLANNED

According to an agreement signed between the Yerevan Municipality
program implementation office and Renco LTD, the construction
of Azatutyun square underground parking, designed for 500 cars,
is planned to be over in October 4, 2010. However, there are all
premises the construction works may be finished earlier in May or June.
"The deadline and financial resources for the implementation of
construction works of five underground parkings namely in the
Azatutyun, Shahumyan, Aznavour, Sakharov and France squares to be
built till 2014 have been clarified. Mainly, they will be constructed
on private investements," Yerevan's Chief Architect Samvel Danielyan
told Tert.am, adding that the parking stations would see 2496 cars
parked if implemented.
According to Danielyan also a project of underground and overground
multi-storeyed parkings in the inner yard areas of Yerevan
administrative districts, to be implemented in 2010-2020, has been
elaborated.
