Whether or not Ankara and Moscow bring together their positions over
the Karabakh issue, the OSCE Minsk Group is not only Russia, said at
the press conference Hakob Chakrian, a turkologist.
"I don't think that Turkey will be allowed to strengthen its positions
in the South Caucasus; currently, Russia is in competition with the
U.S. to determine spheres of influence and balances of power in the
region," he said.
"If the U.S. or Russia comes off to establish its power over the
South Caucasus, then, after that, Turkey will hardly be allowed to
strengthen its positions here," said analyst.
