ARMENIA CONFIRMS ITS READINESS TO DEEPEN MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL COOPERATION WITH NATO

ArmInfo. Armenia confirms its readiness to deepen a mutually
beneficial cooperation with NATO, it was stated about at May 12
meeting of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan and Defense
Minister Seyran Ohanyan with NATO Deputy Secretary General Claudio
Bisogniero in Brussels.
As Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reports, Armenia-NATO
cooperation within the frames of the Partnership For Peace Programme
and Individual Partnership Actions Plan Programme was discussed
during the meeting. Claudio Bisogniero highly appreciated the level of
cooperation with Armenia on a number of directions. He also thanked
the Armenian party for efficient participation in a peacekeeping
mission in Afghanistan.
