AZERBAIJAN'S DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER: "THERE OCCURRED STAGNANCY IN THE NEGOTIATIONS ON NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT"

Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan
Araz Azimov spoke about current state of negotiations conducted
between Azerbaijan and Armenia in connection with the settlement of
    Nagorno Karabakh conflict, APA reports.

Azimov said that negotiations are continued: "But meetings and
discussions aren't held as it planned. The main cause of it is the
nonconstructive position of Armenia. After Sochi meeting, as you
know, there occurred stagnancy in the negotiations process. Though
the presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair countries give
attention to the problem, Armenia isn't ready to make any changes
in its position. Nevertheless, heads of co-chair countries continue
discussions on this issue. Recently, Serzh Sargsyan was invited to
Washington, Berlin, Paris for negotiations. The moot point of those
meetings was Nagorno Karabakh problem. Currently, we are in stagnant
situation and there must be changes in the position of Armenia for
    development in the negotiations".
