FIDE Grand-Prix Chess Championship in Astrakhan, Russia, saw the
Armenian grand master Vladimir Hakobyan perform poorly, reports local
Armenian news web site Armsport.am.
Playing with white figures Hakobyan lost to the Chinese player Yu
Wang in the 6th tournament.
This is Hakobyan's second defeat in that tournament. He is the last
in the win list with only 2 points.
This is also the second time that Vladimir Hakobyan has played with
the Armenian tricolor flag turned upside down (see the photo).
